Gildale Holsteins to Host WHA State Picnic September 17

BARABOO, Wis.: The Wisconsin Holstein Association is excited to announce that the Erik and Brenda Gilbertson family from Gildale Holsteins will host the annual WHA State Picnic September 17.

The event kicks off with the Blue Ribbon MILK 5K / 1-mile walk around the Gildale Farm at 9:00 a.m. Other planned activities include a judging contest, cow train rides, keynote speaker, live music and program as well as a steak lunch cooked by the Iowa County Cattleman’s Association. Picnic goers will also get to hear from WHA’s own Crystal Siemers-Peterman, who is serving her year as Alice in Dairyland, and keynote speaker Scott Florence.
